Ghugni Recipe / Matar ke chole/ Yellow Peas Curry is very tasty popular and well known recipe in India. Enjoy it with puri, parata, roti or hot steamed rice.

Ingredients-
yellow peas/sukhe matar-150grms

Potatoes/aloo-2 pcs(medium size)
Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
Cumin powder/jeera powder-2 tsps
Turmeric/haldi powder-1/2 tsp
Corriender powder/dhaniya powder-1 tsp
Red chilly powder/laal mirch powder-1 tsp
Ginger/adrak paste-1/2 tsp

Hing/asafoetida-1/2 tsp

Cumin/jeera-1/2 tsp
Tomato -2 pcs

Salt/namak-as per taste
Sugar/chini-as per taste
Mustard oil/ sarso nka tel-2 table spoons
Water/paani-as per requirement

Green chilly/hari mirch- 2 pcs(chopped)
Corriender leaves/Dhaniya patta- as per requirement

Bay leaves/tej patta- 2-3 pcs
Dry chilly/sukhe laal mirch- 1 pc
Tamarind pulp/imly pulp- as requirement


Bhaja masala-2 tsps cumin seeds,1 & half tsps coriander seeds,1 pc dry chilly,1 pc bay leaf. At first all ingredients should be roasted till brown color at low flame.Then cool it & grind it properly.After that keep it in a clean dry container.Your Bhaja masala is ready.
