Easy Rohu Fish Curry Recipe, Bengali Rui Mach Kalia, Beginners, Nian's Cooking Diary.


1. 6 piece rui fish
2. 3 piece chopped onion
3. 2 tbsp onion paste
4. 2 tbsp garlic paste
5. 2 tbsp zinger paste
6. 1 tsp lemon squash
7. 2 tsp turmeric powder
8. 2 tsp red chili powder
9. 2 chopped tomato
10. 1 tsp cumin seeds powder
11. 1 tsp coriander powder
12. Some coriander leaves
13. Salt 2 tbsp
14. 1/4th cup oil

Easy Rohu Fish Curry Recipe, Bengali Rui Mach Kalia, Beginners, Nian's Cooking Diary Procedure:

1. Wash slice rohu fish. add 1tsp turmeric powder,1tsp red chili powder, 1tsp salt,1 tsp garlic paste,1tsp zinger paste & lemon squash with fish.mix this & keep aside for marinate 30 minutes.

2. In a pan heat oil perfectly. Pour all fish in oil.fry this both part until deep brown colour. Fry this in high flame. It will take 6 minutes. 3 minutes in both part apart. After finishing fry, took fried fish in a bowl.

3. Now add some more oil in your fried pan. Heat oil. Add chopped onion and roast in brown colour. Then add one by one onion paste, zinger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, turmeric powder & red chili powder. Stir to mix all spices. Sauté this in low flame, it will take 5-6 minutes.

4. Add chopped tomato. Again sauté 5-6 minutes in low medium flame with cover until tomatoes are gravy.

5. Now mix 2 cup of water. Cover the pan to boil water. then put all fried fish in water. again cover with lid in medium flame.

6. After some minutes, put the lid & rotate fish. Cook 6-7 minutes

7. Add chopped coriander leaves. Put off the flame; cover the pan in hot stoves with no flame in 6 minutes.

8. Open the lid, watch oil shows in upside. Serve your rohu fish curry.
