2 cup milk powder
4 table spoon flour
2 table spoon semolina
1/2 tea spoon baking powder
1 table spoon ghee(melted butter)
liquid milk as needed to make the dough
oil for deep fry
For Sugar syrup:
1 and 3/4 cup sugar
5 cup water
4 green cardamom
part 1(making the dough):
Mix all dry ingredients very well then add the ghee and mix it well with hands. Slowly add little liquid milk (you can use water as well) and make a soft dough. keep it covered for 5 to 10 minutes. Put some oil or melted butter on your hand and take small amount of dough to make pantoa balls. when all pantoa balls are done it is ready to fry. Deep fry all balls with a low heat till it turn into red colour. when you see the perfect colour then it is ready to transfer in the sugar syrup.
part 2(sugar syrup): In a deep pan take 5 cup of water and add 1 and 3/4 cups of sugar in it. Add 4 green cardamom for a nice flavour . keep the flame medium. when it will become half then low the flame.
Now transfer the hot fried pantoa balls into the sugar syrup and cover it. cook it with low flame for 10 minutes then turn off the stove . Keep it covered for 1.5 hours or more . Then enjoy The Super delicious Bengali sweet Pantoa.
